Hours & markers

Weekly schedules and pin images, reused across locations.

Two settings screens with the same idea behind them: define something once, reuse it across locations, change it in one place.

Store hours

Settings → Store hours.

A saved schedule is a week of opening times under a name — Weekday retail, Mall hours, Warehouse. Each day is an opening and closing time, or Closed.

On a location, the Store hours section either points at one of these or is set to Custom for that location's own week.

Saved schedules are worth the small amount of setup: when the hours change for the holidays, you edit one schedule rather than two hundred locations. A location on Custom is untouched by that, which is right for the outlier that opens late on Thursdays.

Each schedule shows an ID with a copy button, for the Hours ID column in an import.

What shoppers see

  • In the results list: today's hours.
  • When a location is selected: the full week.
  • Days with nothing set are left out rather than shown as closed.

Whether hours appear at all is Show store hours in Customize.

If you delete a schedule that locations were using, those locations fall back to their own hours and the app warns you on the location itself.

Markers

Settings → Markers.

A marker is a pin image, saved under a name and reusable across locations — different pins for flagship stores and stockists, or a logo per brand.

On a location, Map marker offers three choices:

  1. The default pin — a shape drawn in the locator's Pin color, set under Customize.
  2. A saved marker from this screen.
  3. A custom image, just for that one location.

Markers keep their own proportions and are shown about 40px tall on the map, so a tall badge and a wide logo both come out sensibly. A square image around 80–120px is a safe starting point.

Each marker shows an ID with a copy button, for the Marker ID column in an import.

On the locations list, the Map marker column shows the pin image itself, and says Default for locations using the default pin.
